Sebastian Goffin


Originally from the UK, Sebastian Goffin arrived at the Norwegian National Ballet in autumn 2014 after two years with the Bavarian State Ballet's junior company, the Bavarian State Ballet II. In Bavaria, he danced in Balanchine's Allegro brillante, Duato's Na Floresta and Jardi Tancat and van Manen's Concertante, as well as the Pas de six in Barra's Swan Lake. He also danced with the main company in Neumeier's The Illusion, Massine's Choreartium, Petipa's La Bayadère and Ashton's La Fille mal gardée
Goffin graduated from the Royal Ballet Upper School in 2012, having also attended the Elmhurst School for Dance and the Young Dancers Academy, where he studied under Anna du Boisson. His additional work as a choreographer began while he was studying at the Royal Ballet School, where he won the Ursula Moreton Choreographic Award in 2011. So far he has created four/several works, including for his colleagues in the Bavarian State Ballet II.
