Intro

Audun Iversen studied at the Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in Leipzig and at the Royal Opera Academy in Copenhagen.

Audun Iversen has appeared in opera houses and festivals such as Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, San Francisco Opera, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Theater an der Wien, The Bolshoi Theatre, Opéra de Lille, Théâtre de Caen, Glyndebourne Festival, Norwegian National Opera and Royal Danish Opera.

His operatic roles include The Count in Le Nozze di Figaro, Silvio in I Pacliacci, Marcello in La Bohème, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia, the title role in Eugene Onegin and Albert in Werther.

He is also an active concert singer and regularly appears in concert halls throughout Europe and North America.

In May 2014 Audun Iversen sang Silvio in I Pacliacci at the Royal Danish Opera and in August 2014 he sings Il Conte di Luna in Il trovatore at Opera Hedeland.

Upcoming highlights include appearances at Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera and Norwegian National Opera.
