Talented young soprano Natalia Tanasiiciuc was born in the Republic of Moldova. She attended the National School of Music and currently studies with tenor Mihai Muntean at the Republican Academy of Music and Arts in Chisinau.
Already a recipient of numerous prizes in national and international singing competions, she was also awarded the Presidential Grant, a national scholarship given to students of extraordinary talent and academic achievements.
At the age of just 21, Tanasiiciuc made her professional debut in the role of Contessa Le nozze di Figaro on the main stage of the Moldovan National Theatre. Her debut received excellent critical acclaim and she was later awarded the National Award for Oustanding Achievement in Arts. Further roles in Chisinau include Nedda in Pagliacci, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin and the title role of
Iolanta. Tanasiiciuc also regularly appears in concert and is a dedicated recitalist in her native Moldova.
