Abridged version of Bizet’s opera

Soloists, the children’s chorus, full chorus and orchestra are on the stage when we open the season with one of the most popular operas in the world – about a real ladette!

Carmen does not want to be seduced; she wants to do the seducing. To this woman, all that matters is freedom – including the freedom to be a woman in her own way. This provokes Corporal Don José no end. At the same time, he is obsessed with making her his own, his property. But Carmen will never let herself be chained down....

Experience the greatest hits from Bizet’s opera in a condensed version! Singers, chorus and orchestra perform the intense story of a freedom and love that cannot be tamed, as a scenic concert.
