Absurd dance theater for youth

What are dance performances really about? Jo Strømgren Kompani takes Secoond Stage to explain what.

There are three categories of people; those who love dance, those who hate dance and those who do not care at all. Common to all is that they have completely misunderstood what dance is. Maybe the reason is that the dance does not even understand itself? If you are curious about the answers, there is only one thing to do – see the performance The Truth about Dance.

When you see classical ballet, you might think of swans, but just as well think about adults jumping around in tights. In the same way, you can look at modern dance and think they do cool things, but still, why do they move the way they do? And what are they trying to say? In other words, it’s not entirely easy to understand what dance performances are really about. Regionteater Väst and Jo Strømgren Kompani has therefore created a pedagogical performance for you who want to understand. A revolution is expected.

A co-production with Regionteater Väst

The show offers a wonderful time travel.
