Klara Mårtensson


Since joining the Norwegian National Ballet as an apprentice in August 2012, Klara Mårtensson has danced in Balanchine's Symphony in C, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Patrick King's production At the Summer Palace and Kjersti Alveberg's evening-length Alveberg on Dreamt Ocean. She studied at the Swedish National Ballet School in her home city of Gothenburg and at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and took part in the Nordic Baltic Ballet Competition in Falun in 2010 and 2012 and the Prix de Lausanne in 2011.

As a full member of the Norwegian National Ballet she has danced in Scarletts Carmen, Nurejevs Don Quixote and Ekmans Rooms. In 2017 she co-created her own choreography for the part as Diana in Moum Aunes acclaimed Hedda Gabler.
