Victoria Francisca Amundsen


Victoria Francisca Amundsen was born in Tarragona, Spain. She studied at BRIT, Performing Arts and Technology and Rambert Dance School. Victoria Francisca Amundsen  danced with European Ballet and Ballet Imaginaire before joining the Norwegian National Ballet in 2000. With the Norwegian National Ballet Victoria Francisca Amundsen  has danced Bianca in Lubovitch‘s Othello, Clara in Bjørn's The Nutcracker, Peaseblossom in Sund's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Bluebird pas de deux in Petipa's Sleeping Beauty, the Ruby Fairy in Mats Ek's Sleeping Beauty and Juliet in Espejord and Støvind's Romeo and Juliet - a modern love story. 

She has danced prominent solo parts including Kylián's Stamping Ground, Bella Figura, Six Dances and Falling Angels, van Dantzig's Four Last Songs, Forsythe's Workwithinwork, Stevenson's Cinderella, Lightfoot and León's Step Lightly, Sh-Boom and Subject to Change, Duato's Por Vos Muero, White Darkness and Arcangelo, York's Celts, Rushton's On the Adjacent Sides, Holmes‘ Swan Lake, Balanchine's Symphony in Three Movements, Elo's Brake-Green* and Death and the Maiden*, Støvind's While I Looked the Other Way and Thought of Something Else*, Sølvi Edvardsen's Access*, Øyen's Dead To The World* and Strømgren's Partita*
