Intro

The Aftenposten reviewer wrote of Vilde Frang after her concert at the Opera in 2016: “She plays with a totally unique clean, clear and warm tone and an effortless, energetic virtuosity.” Now the violinist takes the stage again in the Main House, this time playing with cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and pianist Alexander Lonquich.

Nicolas Altstaedt

Alexander Lonquich

Frang began her career as a violinist at an early age: At ten she debuted as a soloist with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and two years later she appeared with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra on the invitation of Mariss Jansons himself. After studying in Norway and Germany, in a short time she has established herself as one of the most exciting and distinguished among a new generation of soloists.

Frang, together with cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and pianist Alexander Lonquich, present a selection of piano trios by Schumann, Ravel and Dvořák.
