His last successes include his Florestan at the prestigious Philharmonie de Paris and the National Opera Wroclaw, Siegmund in Walküre at the Karlsruhe State Opera, the Prine in Rusalka at the Opera House in Leipzig and at the Scottish Opera, Herman in ‘Pique Dame’ at the Holland Park Festival, Lohengrin at the National Opera Athens, Tristan for the Longborough Festival and with the Winnipeg Orchestra in Canada as well as his Boris in Katja Kabanova at the Opéra de Nancy.
The international career of Peter Wedd has taken him to sing in Opera Houses like the Royal Opera House London, Semperoper Dresden, Bellas Artes Mexico, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival, Polish National Opera, Opera North, Nederlandse Reisopera, Longborough Festival, Garsington Opera, Opera Australia a.m.o.
His first repertoire included Alfredo, Don José, Tamino, Don Ottavio, Laca (Jenufa), Gregor (Makropoulos Case), Florestan or Giasone, moving in 2013 into the lyric Wagner repertoire. His first Lohengrin he sang at the Welsh National Opera followed by Siegmund (Die Walküre) in Mexico, Lohengrin at the Polish National Opera.
He is a sought after concert singer, too and works with major orchestras including the London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Royal Scottish National, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony and Netherlands Radio Philharmonic.
Future engagements bring him as Alwa in Lulu to the Opera House Leipzig, Florestan to the Opera House Bilbao, Siegmund to the Frankfurt Opera House.
